James D. McCallister

James D. McCallister (left) is the author of King's Highway, a first novel that Red Letter Press will publish in June 2007. McCallister, who lives in West Columbia, S.C., with his wife Jenn and their nine cats, is a 1988 graduate of the University of South Carolina. Sheila Morris

Born and raised in Grimes County, Texas, Sheila Morris is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and earned a graduate degree at the University of South Carolina. She has been a CPA, stockbroker, financial advisor, and college instructor, and is now an executive for a financial firm. She lives in Columbia, S.C., with her partner Teresa Williams and their four dogs, and is active in seeking equal rights for women, African Americans, and gays and lesbians.
